The Good's In Operative will:
- To receive onto site External Materials/Products, ensuring they are booked into stock using the appropriate companies Standard Operating Procedures.
- To check materials to correct Quality Levels and record the disposition on the appropriate records.
- To receive onto site Product return.
- To store in the required area before disposition, raise the appropriate paperwork and distribute to the Supply chain co-ordinator / warehouse Supervisor
- To ensure all Counterbalance / Reach truck vehicles are suitably inspected daily and the appropriate paperwork filled out ,reporting all defects immediately to supervision
- To work safely at all times with specific regard for fellow employees, working in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and rules. Always use correct Manual Handling techniques.
- Carry out any other duties.
- Management of pallets in Goods Inward including disposal of scrap pallets.
- Keep the scrap pallets in the yard stacked neatly.
- Keeping all areas tidy and help with transfer from production when goods in is quiet.
As a Material Handler you will have:
- A FLT license (in date)
- Aptitude for learning
- Aptitude for computers and using Microsoft applications
- Previous experience from a warehouse
- Ability to work in adherence to ISO standards
- Ability to work safely at all times
- Be reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
This will be a temp role after 12 week will be given a perm contact, with a salary £24,500 per Annum.
Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm - possible rotation of shifts. If you are interested full apply with you full CV for consideration
