Job Description
Ginger Pickle is a start up marketing agency based in Norwich. We are growing rapidly and now is an exciting time to join the business.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Google Ads / Performance Marketing professional to join our team and help drive our client's digital marketing efforts to the next level.
As a Performance MarketingExecutive/Specialist at Ginger Pickle, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of digital marketing projects, but your main focus will be Google Ads.
You will be hands-on, working directly on our clients’ Google Ads campaigns in order to enhance performance. You will be expected to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team. As a start-up, there will likely be a requirement to 'muck in' and help with other areas which could include SEO, social media, email marketing and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious person who is passionate about all things marketing and wants to make a real impact in the industry.
You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team (just three at the moment, but there will be more) of marketers and you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Working for a start-up can be both exciting and very challenging (unorganised chaos at times), as it often involves taking on a wide range of responsibilities and tackling new challenges on a daily basis. However, it can also be extremely rewarding, as you will have the opportunity to be a key player in a rapidly growing company and make a real impact on its success.
In addition to the exciting and challenging work environment, we also offer:
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off
- An initial onboarding period of working from the office, with a mix of home and office work in the future (2-3 days a week)
- Bonus potential based on individual and company performance
- Opportunity for personal and professional development through funded training and support
We believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication and are committed to creating a positive and supportive work culture. That does sound like corporate rubbish, but really, if we need you to work over your hours and ask you to do so, you will get the time back or be paid for it. No employee is expected to go beyond their working hours for free.
The ideal candidate will have a marketing qualification or degree and some working experience in the field, whether through an agency, in-house, or running your own side hustle.
We are open to different levels of seniority and experience and would welcome applications from those in the early stages of their Performance Marketing career as well as more seasoned professionals. The expectations and responsibilities (as well as the job title!) involved in the role will be tailored to suit your experience and enable you to grow. For both experienced and less-experienced candidates, it is essential that you have demonstrable experience in setting up and optimising at least some of the following:
- Google Merchant Centre product feeds
- Google Shopping campaigns
- Performance Max campaigns
- Search, Display, YouTube and Demand Gen campaigns
We would be really excited if you can use:
- Google Tag Manager
- Looker Studio
You will be highly motivated, with a passion for all things marketing and a strong desire to learn and grow. Continuous learning is something that is really important to us, and we love curious, learning-oriented people.
In addition to your education and experience, you will also have strong communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with our team of marketers and interacting with clients on a regular basis. You will be able to work independently and take initiative, as well as be able to adapt to new challenges and situations as they arise.
If you are ready for a challenge, want to join a company that values its employees and is committed to improving the marketing landscape, and think you have what it takes to succeed in this role, then we want to hear from you.
Salary D.O.E. - but if you have the skills we need, you fit our bill, and we fit yours, then expect £25k-£40k P.A.
Business hours - Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm with a 5pm finish on Fridays.
