The Client - This service led non-departmental public body throughout it's functionality operates with a strategy to provide efficient and accurate assistance to an extensive and diverse range of service users. Currently open to market via confidential means on the search for a premium calibre candidate to fulfil an exciting stimulus/ remit in order to support the Head of Governance & HR. The Role – An integral role which is considered to be of a business critical nature. Duties will include but not be limited to the following range of deliverables (please note that full JD & Benefits will be issued upon successful shortlisting throughout application):
- Development and maintenance of Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Assurance policy frameworks.
- Information Management involving undertaking responsibility of Data Protection
- Effective management of the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS)
- Equality & Complaints management
- Project Management
- Budgetary Oversight / approval
- Policy Reviewal and implementation
- Internal Audits
- Influence across a range of internal strategic decisions
The Person - The post-holder will be required to meet the following criterion prior to reaching the next stage of the campaign:
- A degree (at least 2: 1) or equivalent third level qualification in a relevant discipline g. law, governance, business management
- Two years' experience of working in, and good knowledge of, two or more of the following environments:
- One years' experience of the effective management, development and training
- Sound knowledge of the purpose and function of risk, audit and assurance
- Certified Data Protection Officer/GDPR Practitioner (or willing to attain upon appointment).
- A high level of proficiency in the use of current IT packages, in particular Outlook/Microsoft Word/PowerPoint and Excel.
DESIRABLE: Due to the nature of this contract, it would be of preference to have:
- Two years' relevant and recent experience throughout Public or 3rd Sector setting
