Salary GP Receptionist / administrator required in Eltham SE9 at Eltham Palace Surgery 30 Passey Place SE9 5DQ Seeking a local, enthusiastic person to work at our friendly NHS GP surgery situated within the Eltham Community Hospital premises next to the Eltham High Street. The practice has brand new, modern facilities, a dynamic team involved in integrated health care delivery. Opportunity to work close to other healthcare services. Main responsibilities of the role will include the provision of effective and confidential reception duties including answering telephone calls, use of clinical IT system, meeting/greeting of all patients and visitors in a polite, calm and approachable manner.
Other duties will include the management of the patient documents, data input and at times some administrative/clerical support to the clinical and management team. Applicant should have good Communication, IT skills and preferably knowledge of basic medical terminology. Previous experience of GP reception work and EMIS computer system preferable. If other GP systems experience please mention this on your application.
Full - time post, Monday to Friday, 37.5 per week. Usual working hours 8am to 8pm, on rotation. Flexibility is essential as hours may change to cover annual leave/sickness etc. Competitive rate of pay depending on experience and skills £10.50 - £11.00 per hour based on experience .
A higher rate of pay may be considered for the right candidate
