Graduate Account Manager

As a graduate trainee, you'll benefit from being handed responsibility from the outset, an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a broad understanding of your chosen profession, as well as receiving support in building key skills.

The successful candidate will receive training to develop an understanding of energy charges and billing elements and will work alongside our team of Client Relationship Managers to investigate queries whilst learning about the business and the industry.

The scheme is ideal for recent graduates looking to begin a career in the energy industry. We welcome applications from any discipline. Any additional experience, gained for example from working with people in a customer setting, leading a project, undertaking office administration, working with other organisations or groups, will be advantageous.

We are looking for people with an enthusiastic and positive approach and with an ability to work with minimal supervision. You will be a good communicator, have strong problem solving and analytical skills and be highly organised with the ability to manage your time well and meet deadlines. A fantastic bonus would be if you had existing knowledge about the energy industry.

Key responsibilities to begin with will include:

· Obtaining a track receipt of energy invoices on a monthly basis.

· Inputting both group and singular invoices into energy database

· Developing an understanding of billing elements

· Analysing and assessing the accuracy of energy charges

· Issuing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports

· Liaising with suppliers to raise and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner

· Identifying process improvements that could develop and drive the business

· Communicating ongoing queries internally to the relevant parties.

· Adhering to internal processes to ensure guidelines are met

Job Types: Full-time, Graduate

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
