Are you ready to take on challenging infrastructure projects and drive them to successful completion? We're looking for a talented and dedicated Graduate Civil Engineer (Known internally to us as a Senior Technician) to join our Design Services team in LCC.
As a Graduate Civil Engineer you'll play a vital role in the design, execution, and supervision of infrastructure projects across our LCC. From inception to completion, you'll be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including procurement, contract management, and on-site supervision during construction
We have an ICE approved training scheme, which means we will give you all the support we can to achieve your IEng or CEng qualification.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertake the design of infrastructure projects and aspects of programs of work.
- Supervise on-site projects during construction, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Assist with asset management of highway infrastructure, including asset-related programs of work.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Innovative Thinking: Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in infrastructure design.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Build rapport and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

- Be well-Organised: Manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
As you will be mobile throughout the county, you will need a Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
