Red Bull UK is recruiting for a Grocery Sales Intern for 3 months to be based in London, UK.
Sainsburys is a key retailer for Red Bull within the Grocery Channel, with over 1700 stores within its universe. The role of the intern is to understand the key challenges within the environment around availability, compliance and performance. A successful intern will use the resources around them to understand the challenges fully and share them internally. Based on the findings of this, will help Red Bull maintain and grow its #1 market share in Sports and Energy. This is a paid internship. The internship runs from the 10th June 2024 to 6th September 2024. You must be available for the whole duration of the programme.
Job Description
Data Analysis
Analysis of data available, EPOS/Nielsen and SIP data to understand how we maximise our portfolio. Review promotional data and analyse performance. Draw conclusions and recommendations that can be implemented into the account.
Project work
How can we reduce Zero Sales Days within Sainsburys. Work with field to understand why they are so apparent and why they are increasing specifically in Sainsburys.
Understand the process of activating shippers in store, and work toward what we need to achieve to increase compliance
Creative freedom to create an external P&L Tracker for Sainsburys
Looking great in store
Opportunity to manage and lead POS execution for key campaigns in store. Work with our internal stakeholders of shopper marketing & Field, but also manage external stakeholders such as Staci & Flexforce.
Qualifications
We're not looking for experience or qualifications. Instead, we want someone who is:
Interest in FMCG, retail and commercial sales
Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills
Passion for storytelling & idea generation
Confident with Excel and sales figures
Analytical & strategic thinking
Highly motivated, and keen for self-improvement
Willingness to learn
Time management & organisation
Full UK Clean Driver’s Licence
