We’re looking for Ground Maintenance Operatives to join our Horticultural Team in Harrogate.
Our service
Our Horticultural Team are responsible for the maintenance of all the parks and areas across Harrogate. The displays you see in Harrogate are grown in our own Nursery, every year we grow over 400,000 plants which we plant throughout the area ensuring we maintain our reputation of the floral town of the north.
The role
As our Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to undertake a wide range of Grounds Maintenance tasks and duties including flower, shrub and rose beds as well as the use of grass cutters and other machinery.
What you will bring
To be successful you will have experience in:
- Working within grounds and maintenance
- The use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work
- Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard
As the role covers the district you will require a full driving licence.
