Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accuracy and maintenance of group balance sheet and reconciliations, identify and manage areas of risk and opportunity
- Supporting forecasting and consolidation of short and long term cashflow
- Providing delivery of accurate and timely tax returns
- Supporting production of cyclical balance sheet and cashflow consolidations.
- Assisting development of efficiencies within processes and continuous improvement of transactional accounting within the Group.
- Supporting production of individual entity statutory accounts and group consolidated working capital accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with changing regulations and drive areas of improvement.
- Supporting audit with Group Finance Manager where required. Understand and translate any issues to explain the technical accounting treatment based on respective judgements.
- Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts for certain cost base areas.

- Qualified or working towards ACA, CIMA, ACCA.
- Proven record of working in a Finance Team with exposure to operations (preferably at Group Level) & working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to support understanding of company Balance Sheet, Cashflow activity & Statutory Accounts.
- Understanding of forecasting and budgeting within balance sheet and cashflow environment (preferably at group level)..
- Exposure to either sales, supply chain or central functions cost bases would be plus.
- Ability to work across Matrix reporting environment.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to deal with large data volumes. Organise, analyse and present information from various sources in a clear and concise manner.
- Good team player & sound communication skills
- Attention to detail (inquisitive in nature)
- System savvy with good working understanding of ERP systems.
