My client is a leading international insurance business who is offering hybrid working (1 day a week in the office) for this one-off role. They are seeking a qualified Audit professional who has strong technical audit understanding and experience in developing and implementing Internal Audit Methodologies and practices. You will ideally have experience within the insurance industry.
Your new role
- Working with senior Internal Audit leaders, you will assess, define and evolve audit practices for planning & audit methodologies, and working practices, in order to become more outcome focussed. Working with both internal & external SME\'s, you will be responsible for ensuring these practices are set up to be more agile and flexible in order to accommodate a changing market.
- Continuous improvement is vital and to do this you will identify and implement opportunities to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
- You will develop and deliver training globally, regularly updating on new practices.
- Analyse and report on stakeholder feedback themes and insights as well as the result of quality assurance activities, to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and support the evolution of the reporting approach
What you\'ll need to succeed
- You will be a qualified accountant/auditor (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA etc) with a strong technical audit understanding and experience of developing and implementing internal audit Methodologies and practices.
- You will have significant experience of working in an internal audit function, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent influencing skills, including the ability to convey the benefits of changes and train new approaches.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to internal audit.
