Elevation Senior Finance are partnering with a listed business in South Normanton to recruit a Group Controls Manager.
As the business has grown the need to document all key processes and controls across the business has grown to ensure that any risks can be managed effectively. You will report in the Head of this function, and as a team you will work across the whole business to mitigate risks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice trained qualified Accountant to gain exposure across all functions of the business, in a role that will have a high profile, and where you will have the opportunity to develop and progress your career.
Below is an overview of some of the key responsibilities:
- Understand and document processes throughout the organisation
- Idenitdy, assess and docudment the key risks associated with each process
- Identify, assess and document the controls in place throughout the organisation
- Identify and implement improvements to controls to ensure that risks are in line with business expectations
- Performane and continual testing over key controls to monitor their effectiveness
- Development of subsiduary / divisional risk registers / conversations and ongoing review
- Provide input and insight from subsidiary / divisional risk registers into Group Strategic Risk Register
- Support on the design and implementation of processes and controls within a new ERP system
Key skills / qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Experience within audit - either internal or external
- Understanding of controls and risk management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
