SalaryI am working with a market leading business in their sector who are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their friendly, team of professionals in Didcot. This is a key role in the Finance team of an exciting multi entity group and gives the opportunity to take ownership over the UK Group consolidation, reporting into the Group Financial Accounting Manager and working closely with others within Group Finance and the central reporting team.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of reporting packages to be presented to key stakeholders
- Ownership of group consolidation (including for the budget process)
- Production of UK statutory accounts
- Audit liaison
- Assisting with preparation od VAT returns (UK and overseas) and help with production of corporation tax estimates
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have previous exposure of Group environments and consolidation. You will thrive in a busy working environment with tight deadlines, and be keen to engage with other areas of Finance and other key stakeholders. You will enjoy working collaboratively and independently, with excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
This role would be suited to someone with a Practice background, or a first-time mover from and accountancy practice.
Salary offered is £50-55k + bonus and good benefits including generous holiday, pension, and private medical insurance among others. This role offers hybrid working with three days per week in the Didcot office.
