Group Financial Accountant

If you’re a qualified accountant looking to grow your skills further and step into a Group Financial Accountant role, with a hugely established company in the Software sector, then this is for you!

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong people management skills to lead in the production of timely and accurate consolidated financial accounts for the Group, coordinating and leading all the Group’s financial accounting, audit, and tax matters.
Some responsibilities include;

• Calculate and submit VAT returns for UK entities
• Work with external tax advisers to get all foreign VAT returns submitted 
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all VAT & tax accounts in each entity
• Calculate and review corporate tax returns with external tax advisers including UK RDEC claim
• Preparation and consolidation of financials for UK statutory accounts 
• First point of contact and owner of US, UK and foreign subsidiary audits
