?? Location: Normanton.
? Type: Full-time, Permanent
?? Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
They now require an exceptional Group Financial Controller who will manage the group functions, develop the capability of the team and include all the usual aspects of financial management in a commercial operating environment and full participation at board level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER:
- You will have full P&L and balance sheet responsibility and play a key role in the provision of financial direction and support for all business operations.
- You will be responsible for optimising cash and financing, providing a cost effective and supportive financing strategy.
- You will be expected to take a lead in challenging performance whilst pro-actively assisting the CEO and senior leadership team to drive overall business performance.
- You will support the achievement of operational and commercial objectives which contribute to the overall and long-term profitability of the group.
- Providing financial and operational data to support decision making.
- You will offer sound financial and commercial management, including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow forecasting in addition to full responsibility for overall financial control.
- You will be responsible for leading a small finance team and will be highly regarded as a key member of senior leadership team.
KEY SKILLS AS A GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER:
- A qualified accountant with experience working as a Financial Controller.
- Strong commercial awareness and technical ability to successfully lead the commercial business agenda.
- Experience in formulating and executing business strategy combined with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- SAP and SAGE experience and developing process would be ideal.
