A fantastic opportunity to join a successful pan-European Private Equity firm based in central London. The role is to take responsibility for the management accounts for the group companies. A fully qualified accountant is required (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) together with relevant experience from either the Private Equity or wider investment management sector.
The Role:
- Group management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
- UK corporate and partnership tax
- Perform the group consolidation
- All FCA reporting for regulated investment manager. ICARA knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
- Annual audit of consolidated group accounts, all UK subsidiaries and Luxembourg General Partners
- Quarterly UK VAT returns
- Manage the annual audit process
- UK staff benefits management
- Take ad hoc responsibility for IT projects
Requirements:
- You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- You will have very good academics and be intellectually curious
- Have relevant management/financial accounting experience gained from the Private Equity or investment management sector
- Have some managerial experience
- There is strong preference to hire someone with "ready-made" experience, so you will likely be operating at a very similar level in your current job
