Our client is a UK based manufacturing group who have grown through several acquisitions over the last few years, they produce specialised products on site and supply the UK supply chain with a variety of different products.
We are looking to appoint a new Group Financial Controller who can be responsible for all the financial reporting and compliance for a number of business' within the Group and produce the consolidated reporting pack.
The overall aim of this role is to lead a small finance team and provide accurate financial information to the board of Directors and leadership team. You will manage a few small finance functions and assist them in improving controls and processes, alongside the development of automation on the site.
Your role will take responsibility for:
UK GAAP reporting and IFRS Compliance
Statutory accounts prep
Reduce monthly reporting schedule
Transparency of GP and revenue reporting
Develop consistent controls and reporting processes across the Group
Manage the communication within the SLT
Managing a team of finance people across a few sites
Manage the Group Audit process and be the main POC
Involvement within strategic developments relating to finance.
Cash flow projections and reporting on the cash position.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have solid experience within a multi-site organisation preferably with Group reporting and consolidation exposure. Your previous experience should include:
Monthly management accounts preparation
Leading the statutory accounts and audit process for a large group
Excel skills, including complex formulae, pivot tables and large data sets.
Solid understanding of Group and Corporate responsibilities
