Form of workMy client are a manufacturing business who have recently had a restructure, as such they now need an Interim Financial Controller for a period of 12 months. Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the following:
- Producing monthly management and consolidated accounts
- Forecasting Cash & FX requirements on a monthly basis
- Actively manage cash position
- Manage a Finance team of 8
- Produce annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
- Maintain Capital Management system and Fixed Asset register
- Budgeting and planning
- Manage Group Corporation tax matters, including UK R&D tax relief claims
- Provide financial information, analysis, and advice on business issues to managers
- Maintain effective working relationships with budget holding managers within the business
