Our client is a leading player in their specified industry known for their emphasis on innovation, ambition, global footprint and award winning employee friendly approach. They are seeking a technically minded accountant to join their ranks to manage a small team with a broach remit as follows.* Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements.* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.* Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities.* Collaborate with the FP&A Team.* Work with auditors and external advisors for the group.* Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.* Implement and maintain Financial Reporting systems and processes.* Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities including 5 Year plans.* Provide details management reporting and analysis including variance analysis.* Balance sheet controlThe Successful Applicant* Ideally Practice trained qualified ACA, ACCA accountant.* Previous experience working within a complex corporate environment preferred.* Up to date knowledge of IFRS. * Excellent analytical and Excel skills.* Strong written & verbal communication skills.* Ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines.AGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
