Summary
I am currently recruiting a Head of Data Management to join an enterprise-level Insurance business based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale Data Management projects within the insurance sector.
You will be spearheading the development of the Data Management framework as well as playing a pivotal role in defining the data reference function. You will also be responsible for assessing the current MDM tool & establishing whether it is fit for purpose within the business.
Key Skills Include:
Define and own the data strategy to align with business objectives.brsf
Develop and embed a Data Management framework.
Ensure the successful operation of our Master Data Management and Reference Data Management services, including product roadmaps and potentially management of stewarding teams. Approx 10.
Responsible for assessing the current MDM tool & establishing whether it is for purpose.
Define, own, and maintain Group Data Management artefacts (e.g. Reference Data).
Enhance data quality and standardisation by establishing commonality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise Data Management needs.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimise Data Management processes and tools.
Experience of Azure cloud platforms, including core data services.
Experience in Agile project environment.
Exposure and experience Azure data and analytics products and services (SQL and NoSQL databases, data lake, Synapse, Databricks, PowerBI).
Strong leadership and communication skills with both business and technical partners.
Act as the focal point for other staff working in Data Management across the globe, providing guidance and mentoring where appropriate
