Halliwell Jones Wilmslow is looking for a Group HR Manager.
Your role
The position is based at our Wilmslow Centre consisting of BMW and MINI Sales, Aftersales, and Bodyshop. Travel to our other Group Centres is required as and when necessary.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the HR Function ensuring delivery of a seamless and efficient HR service to the business.
- To ensure the HR Department runs in line with and supports the overall business strategy.
- To assist management in ensuring HR issues are managed consistently in line with company process, policy and good practice, taking into account legislative compliance.
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Your profile
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills
- Focus on attention to detail.
- Proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Must have experience of managing a team.
- Excellent at managing workload and multiple priorities to adhere to deadlines.
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and HR systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and data protection laws.
- Awareness of ACAS Codes of Practice and HR best practice
- Previous practical experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Must have CIPD professional membership and have achieved CIPD Level 7 or the equivalent in experience.
