Oakleaf Partnership are working with a well-established and growing business within the property asset management sector. They are recruiting for an HR & Recruitment Manager to join and support their business in a standalone role that will manage and develop their people function in a generalist capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first HR person within the business who can become the go-to person for all HR and recruitment needs and initiatives. The role is office-based in Handforth.

What is the role?

As the HR & Recruitment Manager, you will work closely Senior Leaders and the wider business in a generalist capacity. You will lead on recruitment processes across the business and oversee employee engagement and onboarding. You will manage the HR function and develop its offering to employees. This is an operational role that will administer the full employee lifecycle from processing starter and leaver documentation, monitor holiday and sickness/absence, collate all payroll data and liaise with external payroll and HR providers. You will act as point of contact for all employees and action disciplinary and grievance processes when required.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have previous experience in recruitment or generalist HR role and have knowledge of the employee lifecycle. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be confident in building relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally. It is essential that this person is well organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. CIPD qualification is desired but not essential.
