A well known listed multi-site business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function.
With 3 direct reports and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will manage the teams that are responsible for Statutory Reporting, Treasury including retail accounting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control. In addition the role will be repsonsible for mantaining the financial controls environment of the business.
Main duties include:
- The production of the Group's Annual Report and Interim Statement - working closely with other departments as well as the external auditors
- Treasury management including debt reporting to the Board, short-term cash forecasting, debt and cash management and reporting on covenants to the banks
- The assessment and monitoring of financial controls throughout the business. Working with the Head of Risk to help develop and execute a plan to document all out processes and controls and develop an audit plan
- Manage and implement accounting process improvements including rebate automation
- Team management and development of the accounts payable, credit control and treasury team
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including external lenders and external auditors
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified either in a group finance role looking for a step up or in an accountancy practice looking for your first move into industry.
