Key Responsibilities
Client Management:
- Focus on developing our existing Annual Reporting offer and advise clients at Board level on award winning strategies.
- Develop new business in the UK and internationally.
- Create, develop and lead winning Annual Reporting pitches with project management, strategy and design teams.
- Have an understanding of clients' needs and strategies, determine their communication requirements and write briefs and proposals to showcase thinking.
- Provide strategic advice, overseeing the execution of projects at the highest level.
- Apply intellect, strategic thinking, and creative thinking to client issues and give tactical advice based on detailed knowledge of the client.
- Manage client expectations and take responsibility for key deliverables and be a senior point of escalation on client issues.
- Be responsible for providing rounded, appropriate responses from the client-facing teams.
- Ensure that the needs and opportunities of existing clients are mapped, the key individuals identified and development plans are in place.
- Work strategically with the new business director and reporting strategic lead on their operations from a client service point of view.
- Negotiate fee increases/justify fees.
- Demonstrate expertise in the management of projects utilizing Workiva and CtrlPrint platforms.
Internally:
- Support the Client Services Director in leading the design client service team, ensuring account management are suitably resourced, supported, engaged and working to their strengths across Annual Reporting accounts.
- Be jointly responsible for the management and motivation of client-facing staff and teams across the business and nurture and encourage team members.
- Brief teams intelligently, giving them strategic themes to develop and inspire a creative spark, direct to stay on brief and ensure there is an 'idea'.
- Be involved in ensuring that resourcing around project teams is appropriate while balancing the commercial needs of the business.
- Provide support for the wider project team through the lifespan of Annual Reporting projects.
- Withstand high pressure situations/workload.
