Communicate have been exclusively engaged by a FTSE-250 manufacturing giant in their search for a Group Reporting Manager. Listed on the LSE, the business operates globally and is a true market leader. Reporting into the Group FC, the Group Reporting Manager will enjoy a broad role and varied progression opportunities.

This is a pivotal role within the group function, responsible ultimately for delivering the periodic statutory and management reporting outputs with the support of a high-performing team of qualified accountants.

Key responsibilities will include:

• The periodic consolidation of all global reporting entities for Group Reporting purposes
• Working closely with external partners to ensure an efficient audit process – maintaining a ‘no surprises’ approach
• Preparing the interim and annual reports for the City, in accordance with IFRS
• Providing technical accounting  advice and support across the group, primarily around new IFRS standards and updates

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, having almost certainly trained with one of the Big 4 audit firms, having since gained experience of group consolidations in industry. The organisation operates across multiple jurisdictions so experience gained in a multicurrency environment will be looked upon very favourably. Candidates will be able to evidence having managed a small team, in addition to first class communication and organisation skills.
