Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has opened up to further develop your career in Reward. Joining the Group Corporate Reward team within Inchcape Plc, our Senior Reward Analyst / Consultant will provide exposure to various aspects of reward, including compensation, share schemes, mobility, employee benefits, HR reporting, and analytics.


The successful candidate will play a vital role in the organisation's reward function and will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Corporate Reward.


Main Responsibilities

  • To manage and support the delivery of Inchcape’s reward programs (e.g. share plans) by agreeing scope and timelines, managing resources (inc. third party vendors) and ensuring quality criteria are documented and achieved.
  • Prepare newsletters, communications, training and other support materials (e.g. process maps) and be able to deliver training events.
  • Review, develop and articulate all elements of the total rewards strategy, such as salaries, bonuses, benefits and long term incentivisation schemes, etc. This will include designing and implementing reviews and producing materials as required to support business and executive decision making.
  • Be the Global Reward focal point, liaising with the HRIS team on the set-up, testing and maintenance of our compensation related modules and core data.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date compensation information in HR systems.
  • Support requests for job evaluation and maintain the organisation’s role architecture in the online evaluation platform.
  • Lead projects with external consultants, advisors and/or contractors; co-ordinate the firm’s participation in external salary benchmarking surveys, consolidate, analyse, and interpret external data to price senior roles, identify trends, market patterns, and implications for the total rewards strategy.
  • Transactional support, including data gathering and analysis, interaction with third parties and any post transaction work, for example, share events, advising on tax query resolution, ensuring third party platforms have high levels of employee data integrity.
  • Assist the wider HR team with ad-hoc rewards related queries and project work.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Passion for pursuing a career in reward.
  • Experience in working on year-end compensation matters, including salary, shares and bonus review.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data and financial information.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and ability to interpret and report on data.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills with senior stakesholders both in-person and online.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Knowledge of HR reporting and analytics is desirable.
  • Experience working within a Global Plc company desirable.
