Semi Senior Accountant

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a very well-established Accountancy Practice based in the area of Sandbach, Cheshire.
This professional accountancy firm have been around since 1968 and are a small general accountancy practitioner who are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their team.
The Role;
Alongside managing an assigned portfolio of clients, the Semi-SeniorAccountant will oversee work assigned to the bookkeeping team and take a lead role in the preparation of monthly / annual management accounts and tax returns.

• Preparation of statutory and management accounts
• Preparation of statutory/annual accounts for a range of clients
• Preparation of corporation tax returns and partnership tax returns
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Overseeing and supporting with work assigned to the bookkeeping team
• Supporting varied clientele of small sole traders, limited companies and some oversees clients.

Ideally, the right candidate for this position will have excellent experience within a UK Accountancy Practice of over 3 years in a similar position.
