Our client, a well-established and esteemed accountancy firm, is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role presents fantastic progression opportunities for candidates who are part or fully AAT qualified, or those with equivalent experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
• Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns
• Preparation of Personal Tax returns
• General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients
• Regular utilization of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks

Candidate Attributes:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a UK Accountancy Practice
• Either AAT qualified or studying towards this qualification
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages
