Hours: Full-time, hours between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing environment? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join independent nursery settings across Harrogate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
- Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a nursery setting is preferred.
- Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
