Our brand new, state of the art Central Production Unit that caters for some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here support our locations with home made grab & go options along with various other offerings from cooked lunches to event catering. This is a full time operation and runs from Sunday to Thursday.

We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at Sous Chef or Head Chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team providing breakfast, morning break, lunch and hospitality services to pupils, teachers and visitors
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Leading, training and developing kitchen team members
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

You will have the following skills:

Knowledge / competencies:

• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate a good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is essential.
• Hold a recognised cooking qualification such as City & Guild 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
• Hold a level 3 food Hygiene qualification.
