Café Dolce are looking to welcome a new key member to our busy and popular café, we are wanting to find a new Head Chef who is as keen as we are to maintain our high standing and keep building our popularity in the local area. If you are enthusiastic about food and want to work alongside us to create a new fresh and exciting menu then this is the job for you! The food we offer is simple with a small menu, offering our guests meals with fresh ingredients all cooked in house.
The ideal candidate needs experience, motivation and good organisational skills.
JOB ROLE: Fully accountable and responsible for all matters relating to the efficient, safe and disciplined operation of the kitchen, the direction of its personnel, the entire food production process, including purchasing, stock holding, quality control and cost target achievement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage and demonstrate high quality customer care.
- To oversee the physical stock take in order to ensure efficient cost control.
- To manage stock ordering to ensure maximum profit and minimum waste.
- To achieve a GP of 70%
- To comply with all legal requirements regarding Food Safety legislation and Health and Safety.
- To implement all menus in line with company profits.
- To ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised to increase profits.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: From £28,000.00 per year depending on experience up to £30,000
