Head of Property Services - London Fire Brigade
Location: London Bridge/Southwark Station
Position Type: Full-Time - Monday to Friday (Hybrid work 2-3 days’ work from home available)
Salary Range: Umbrella £607.14 per day (£455.95 PAYE) - £768 per day (576.88 PAYE)
About the Role: The London Fire Brigade (LFB) are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to join our organisation as the Head of Property Services on an initial 3-month contract with a view to extend if all goes well. This pivotal role will be at the forefront of developing and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance the working lives of the brigade’s staff and the services they provide to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive programme to transform LFB’s workspaces, aligning with their commitment to service excellence.
- Client and Community Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for all premises-related matters, ensuring their office estate and security meet the highest standards.
- Project Delivery: Manage property-related projects that are customer-focused, timely, within budget, and adhere to energy efficiency standards.
- Budget Management: Strategically allocate budgets to maintain and improve the brigade’s estate, ensuring inclusivity, accessibility, and a community-centric approach.
- Telecommunications Oversight: Oversee the brigade’s telecommunications register and coordinate the decorations programme to elevate the LFB brand.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as an ambassador for workplace transformation, collaborating with HR, operations, and IT to foster an inclusive and innovative environment.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions to drive change in line with LFB’s strategic goals and policies.
