About the role
This new role will lead the development of the Universities’ Apprenticeship strategy and delivery plan. You will set the direction, vision and standards of delivery for Apprenticeships services and co-ordinate the activity of the wider apprenticeship provision across Faculties and departments ensuring appropriate resources are available.
Working in partnership with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of Apprenticeships service. You will drive the development and continuous improvement of apprenticeship provision to ensure that apprenticeship programmes meet the needs of employers and industry; and they engage, motivate, and provide progression pathways for apprentices.
About you
You will have extensive knowledge and working experience of operating under apprenticeship funding rules and related legislation, gained from experience in a similar role in another private, FE or HE provider. You will have excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to motivate others and have experience of developing relationships with Business leaders and Employers in developing and delivering Apprentichips Programmes.
About our Division
The University Operations and Strategic Planning division is a diverse division which sits at the heart of the University, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Staff in the Division provide a range of services, including key data insights, business intelligence, research and evaluation of Access and Participation activities and the provision of Services and support for the development of our new Apprenticeship programmes.
