Head of Area Sales
Glasgow/Hybrid - Regular Travel

A brilliant opportunity on offer for a Sales Director/Head of Sales to join a well-established global business where you can run a team and drive the company even further forward.
This company are a multi-billion turnover business, recognised as the world leader in heavy equipment and machinery. They are looking for an experienced Sales Leader to join the division to provide innovative and class leading solutions to their vast array of clients.
In this role you will be responsible for retaining, growing and maintaining relationships and business for key accounts covering Scotland. As well as being on the road and being hands on with clients you will also manage a sales team to ensure that you are maximising results and inspiring those around you.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a track record of maintaining existing relationships and wining new business. You will need to have experience managing a team and getting high level performances out of others. A full drivers license will be required as you will be out on the road 2/3 times per week travelling across Scotland winning new business and building relationships. It would be advantageous if you come from a construction background.

*Oversee the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
The Person:
*Experience managing a team and driving high level performances.
*Seasoned sales professional with a track record of maintaining existing relationships and winning new business.
*Full driver's license required for frequent travel across Scotland, approximately 2/3 times per week
*Advantageous to have a background in construction industry.
