Gloucestershire Children’s Services are ambitious for children in our county. We provide support to thousands of children every day, delivered by a wide range of professionals. Key to the delivery of high quality frontline services are the support services which enable our colleagues to improve outcomes or children. We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled leader and manager to head up our business support services.
Reporting to the Director of Safeguarding and Care, you will lead on business administration, logistics and resources, to support operational delivery and the future development of the service. You will provide a focal point for the interface with corporate council functions, such as IT and digital, asset management and property services. You will develop and implement continuous improvement to help deliver planned outcomes for the service and for children and families in Gloucestershire. You will ensure there is a consistent, joined up and integrated approach to business across directorate services, supporting compliance with financial, data management, health and safety and constitutional requirements.
