As the Head of Commercial Finance, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our client's business, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, providing insightful analysis and recommendations, and leading a small team of finance professionals.

Your main goal will be to optimise profitability and support decision-making processes, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

Your key responsibilities as the Head of Commercial Finance will include:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth and maximise profitability.
• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, insights, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
• Lead the Commercial Finance team of 7, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial guidance and business support.
• Monitor and evaluate business performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes where applicable

Your key skills will include:

• Proven experience within FP&A or Commercial Finance roles.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Be a strong team leader, assisting with development
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering results.
• Experience in the FMCG or retail industry would be highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.
