They are currently seeking a Head of Communications to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As Head of Communications, you will lead our client’s external communications and public affairs strategy.
Raising the profile of their incredible work, you will shape their messaging across all media platforms and ensure consistency, cohesive narratives and key messages. You’ll also oversee internal communications, working closely with the People Team and have responsibility for Crisis Communications.
Line managing the PR and Ambassador Manager, you will ensure their continued development and growth as well as the delivery of high-quality work. Externally, you will engage with journalists and other stakeholders to provide pathways to promote the organisation and drive engagement with what they do.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and implement measuring and evaluation tools
- Oversee relationships with PR agencies
- Agree and manage the communications budget
About You
To be considered as Head of Communications, you will need:
- Experience engaging and working with a range of journalists and key stakeholders
- Experience working at an operational and strategic level
- Management experience
- Knowledge of media across all platforms
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills
