We’re looking for an experienced communications professional to help us raise the profile of our charity, develop our brand and strengthen our engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.
In this varied and versatile position, you’ll lead our growing communications team and play a key role in promoting the charity’s work and celebrating the positive impact we make for patients and NHS staff at five London hospitals.
As a key member of our senior management team, you’ll develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to help us deliver impactful healthcare projects across our grants, arts and volunteering programmes. You’ll also work collaboratively with internal colleagues to grow our supporter database and maximise fundraising opportunities.
With a broad range of responsibilities across marketing, communications and public relations, you’ll play a leading role in celebrating the charity’s achievements through powerful story-telling, impact reporting and effective media relations. You’ll also develop our digital strategy, with overall responsibility for our website, social media channels and email marketing.
As well as working with colleagues internally, a key aspect of the role will be to manage and maintain excellent relationships with the communications team at our partner NHS trust, including developing joint campaigns.
As a member of the senior management team, you’ll also be responsible for achieving team targets, setting personal development goals, providing ongoing evaluation and preparing reports for our board and committees.
