An exciting opportunity has arisen for a "Head Of Repairs & Compliance" within a leading housing association based in the heart of Edinburgh.
This role will see you build, lead and develop an existing team of Repairs & Compliance Managers whilst the organisation is undergoing a refresh. The role sits along alongside the HA\'s senior managers and board members, delivering on strategic and operational goals set out by the team and wider local government guidance/targets.
This organisation is currently undergoing a large management refresh as well as an exciting new office refub in the coming weeks. This role will see you head up a variety of functions across the business - from high end service delivery projects to monitoring tight and often challenging budget/procurement processes.
Experience operating at a senior level within housing or repairs across the public sector is essential - alongside a firm understanding of NEBOSH/IOSH. The ideal candidate will be motivated, lively and up for the challenge of driving change and overcoming objections. This role will see you working directly with the management team and ground level staffing. Being at the heart of the full operation from planning to executing is key to the successful running of the department.
