We are excited to working with a leading Technology & Retail organisation, who are looking for their next Head of Field Sales Training.
You will be responsible for the refinement and weekly execution of a highly engaging and effective training program, designed to train, motivate and prepare Field Sales teams for success in their sales roles.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously refine bespoke weekly training programs tailored to meet both business and client needs. This involves staying updated on industry trends, feedback from the field, and emerging best practices to ensure the training remains effective and relevant.
- Implement a comprehensive training strategy that includes both large-scale training sessions and smaller, more focused group sessions.
- Lead a weekly 5-day onboarding program for new field starters, utilizing a mix of virtual and face-to-face sessions. Evaluate the effectiveness of the program through assessments conducted during training and in-field observations.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Manager and Account Team to ensure smooth transitions for new hires from the recruitment phase to the onboarding process.
- Develop clear pathways for new starters to achieve set targets during the onboarding period.
- Provide training and support to Territory Managers and Regional Managers to enhance their ability to effectively manage their sales teams.
Requirements:
- You will have a passion for the industry and be able to clearly demonstrate your proven ability to deliver engaging training materials to high standards.
- Solid experience training Field Sales teams and have proven experience in conducting a range of training programs for large-scale Field Sales campaigns
- Experience developing and implementing training program, with knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring and e-learning programs
- Good to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and strong initiative for self-learning as reporting requirements develop over time
- Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint for building client-facing presentation decks, as well as training materials for wider external teams
This role will be a hybrid between their Shoreditch HQ and out in the field, with the expectation of conducting training in client’s office once per week.
