The Role
As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and management of Hadean. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a small team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organisation. This role is a 12 Month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level, including regular analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to optimise resource allocation.
Manage cash flow to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, including efficient treasury and working capital management practices.
Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, work with our external advisors, prepare and deliver the annual audit.
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of coaching, mentorship, excellence and continuous improvement..
Manage and maintain relationships with internal and stakeholders
Other: get involved in multiple non-financial projects to support the growth of the business.
Knowledge and Expertise
Qualified accountant with experience in a start-up/scale up environment
Experience with multi currency, multi entity accounts and group audit.
Bonus - US and Germany experience
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation.
Proven track record of successfully managing financial strategies in a high-growth environment.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
