This independent accountancy firm based in north London are looking to add an OMB tax specialist to their management team. This firm is enthusiastic about their development having increased their size significantly over the past 5 years through client wins and a recent firm acquisition. This has led to an increase in the tax team and also consultancy work within firm and therefore the need for senior specialist in tax.

As Head of Tax within the firm the role will need you to undertake the standard responsibilities of an OMB Tax Manager, managing a small tax team whilst dealing with a portfolio of the more complex compliance cases. However, the role is unusual as it is expected that over 40% of your time will be spent undertaking tax advisory work.

For this role you will have gained experience working as a mixed tax manager and have undertaken advisory work where you have produced reports for clients. You will also need to have plenty of experience managing the compliance life cycle and be comfortable managing juniors.

In return you will have the opportunity to lead a tax function and the potential to develop into a Tax Partner if that is your aspiration.
