ROLE: Head of Finance / Finance Business Partner
LOCATION: Altrincham, Greater Manchester (Onsite)
SALARY: From £60,000- £100,000 (DOE)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Finance / Finance Business Partner to join our team and drive financial success across our two group businesses.
The Role:
As the Head of Finance / Finance Business Partner, you will partner with the CEOs of two group businesses at different growth stages: one experiencing high growth/maturity and the other a start-up. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing plans and actions with the business to achieve strategic goals.
- Utilising data insights to optimize profitability and performance, including credit risk management.
- Preparing management accounts and leading planning and forecasting efforts.
- Supporting external funding relationships, including cash flow analysis and monitoring.
- Overseeing the risk framework and reporting.
- Completing regulatory returns.
- Providing decision support, including pricing strategies.
- Overseeing routine settlements, billing, and banking schedules along with related financial controls.
- Managing payroll administration via an outsourced provider.
About You:
- Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
- Experience with accounting software, such as Xero.
- Experience within SMEs or start-ups.
- Preferable: Financial Services experience and/or Consumer Credit, regulated background (FCA/Banking/Financial Services knowledge, Consumer Credit knowledge, Funding and Block Facilities).
- Data analytic skills, particularly related to loan book analysis.
