Head Of Finance

My client are a specialist roofing contractor supplying and installing a wide range of roofing and cladding systems across the UK. They work on student accommodation, high-rise developments, industrial, education, healthcare, and leisure projects throughout the UK.

They are one of the fastest-growing roofing contractors in the North West, having secured several prestigious projects.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance to join their business. Experience within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. You'll be building and controlling the procurement and finance team whilst reporting on the financial progress of the business alongside the Managing QS, reporting to the Managing Director.

As the Head of Finance, your role will include:

• Facilitate the development and implementation of processes and best practices within the business.
• Stay informed about CIS and VAT regulations impacting the construction industry and apply them to daily operations.
• Review the monthly payroll prepared by the group accounts function.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly VAT, CIS, and payroll returns.
• Assist with monthly management accounts aligned with project evaluations, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assist with the revenue recognition process.
• Fulfil other ad hoc reporting and requests as necessary.

Salary and benefits:

• Competitive remuneration and benefits package of up to £80,000 (Negotiable)
