SalaryChase & Holland are delighted to be working with a fast growing SME Manufacturing business in Doncaster who are seeking an experienced proactive Head of Finance, report directly into the Managing Director.
This is a crucial role to manage and analyse everyday finance activities and lead the team. You will work closely with the MD and management team to provide advise & guidance on future plans and strategic decisions.
In return:

- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide suggestions for strategies
- Maintain the financial health of the organisation
- Analyse costs, pricing, margins, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plan and budgets.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the company finances is maintained.
- Work with various other departments to drive business performance
- Responsible for statutory and tax returns
- Ideally be a qualified accountant
- Technically strong including statutory reporting, financial controls, management accounts
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Strong IT literacy including excel
- Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers
- Thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment
