Salary - £67,492 - £75,402

sportscotland is the national agency for sport in Scotland, helping the people of Scotland get the most from the sporting system. An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead, motivate and develop the strategic direction of our organisation's Finance and Governance functions as our new Head of Finance and Governance.

This is an ideal role for a senior-level finance professional who possesses a proven track record of effectively leading, managing and developing a team. A credible and influential leader with a clear vision, you will seek out innovative ways to drive continuous improvement across the organisation and sector, whilst promoting a positive team ethos and collaborative ways of working.

With a responsibility for managing annual audits, producing accounts and ensuring that budgets are prepared and managed effectively, you will be a strategic thinker adept at balancing benefit against risk and will use principles, sound values and business sense to make forward-thinking decisions. Strong commercial awareness and an ability to drive productivity and efficiency will allow you to confidently create procedures and structures that enable the achievement of corporate goals.
