I'm currently partnering with a high growth, PE backed BioTech organisation in Oxford on the recruitment of a Head of Financial Reporting to join their
growing function as the company continues to scale and work towards an IPO listing.
This role is best suited for candidates coming from an audit background with extensive experience in industry working on driving Financial Reporting processes under IFRS standards
and implementing a robust internal controls process.
This Head of Financial Reporting role includes the following duties:
Overseeing all Financial Reporting responsibilities within the group (year end, quarter end and year-end audit as well as group consolidations)
Ensuring compliance to relevant IFRS reporting standards across the group
Business partnering with key stakeholders to drive Financial Reporting processes and improve efficiency
Work alongside senior finance stakeholders to design and implement a robust internal controls function aHead of a future IPO listing
Manage a team of Financial Reporting professionals
Ad-Hoc Duties
The Desired candidate for this Head of Financial Reporting role should have the following experience:
ACA/ICAEW/ACCA Qualified- Mandatory
Top 10 Audit Firm Background- Mandatory
Proven track record of overseeing technical accounting and year-end processes- Mandatory
Strong exposure to complex working with and rolling out IFRS standards including 15 and 16 across the wider accounting function- Mandatory
Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss complex accounting issues with non-finance SLT members- Mandatory
Experience in SOX compliance - Desirable
Exposure to gearing up a finance function for an IPO process- Desirable
