HEAD OF FINANCIAL SERVICES

Salary: £41,843 up to £48,501 dependent upon qualifications and experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to undertake an all-encompassing finance role for a dedicated and ambitious individual who is ready for the next stage of their career to play a pivotal role.  The Head of Financial Services will oversee the Financial Services of the College and contributing towards the strategic success of a growing College..

The role will provide essential support to the Deputy Principal in the financial planning and financial management of the College.

As a Head of Financial Services, you will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of a professional finance service in providing accurate and timely financial information.

Key duties will include: –

• Providing strategic support on financial matters to the strategic leadership team and College managers.

• Producing and delivering monthly reports which provide financial insight.

• Lead on the production of budget, forecasts, and statutory accounts. Effective management of the finance team Continuous financial, commercial and system process improvement.

The College is seeking a highly motivated qualified Head of Finance with a strong background in financial and management accounting.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in finance as well as excellent communication and people management skills. Consideration will be given to finance professionals from outside the sector who are suitable qualified and can demonstrate a genuine interest in education.
