Crohn’s & Colitis UK is seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Information & Support Services on a 12 Month Maternity Cover contract. This is an exciting role and you will be part of our Leadership Team guiding our information and Support Services which are vital to people with Crohn’s and Colitis. Whether they are newly diagnosed, experiencing flares, or surgery, we are here to provide all the information and support they need.
Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 (FTE) per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 35 hrs FTE - will consider 4 days for the right applicant
Place of work: Flexible/Hybrid

Role Overview
This is an exciting role as part of our expanding leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the strategic development of our high-quality information and Support Services with a particular focus on expanding our reach and improving our support and information offer to all communities. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services are accessible, innovative and meet the needs of everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis.

About you
You will be a dynamic leader with experience in developing and delivering information and support for people with health conditions. You will be passionate about making a difference, with a focus on developing innovative programs and services. You will have experience of measuring and demonstrating impact, improving reach, and leading talented teams. A degree or equivalent experience is desirable, along with an understanding of the impact of living with long-term health conditions.
Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. But many of our staff work very effectively from home. In this role, there is plenty of scope for doing that although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. It is possible therefore you could live almost anywhere in the country.
