Their vision is to create an inclusive education system which gives all young people a rounded education, ensuring that skills and wellbeing are prioritised alongside attainment. Through their innovation award project, the charity aim’s to tackle entrenched issues in education by nurturing big ideas from the public and their members.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Head of Innovation to join the team on a fixed term contract (maternity cover). As Head of Innovation, you will be part of the scaling impact team and will be generating a diverse pipeline of high potential ideas through events, outreach and partnerships. You will manage the project, keep all stakeholders updated and provide support for individuals applying to ensure the charity get a high quality and quantity of applicants. This is a full-time, temporary maternity cover role hybrid working with one day in the London office.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will possess exceptional relationship management skills with diverse stakeholders at all seniority levels. You will have experience in developing strategic partnerships for key deliverables and experience managing corporate partnerships, including employee engagement. You will have strong project management skills, managing multiple responsibilities and delivering quality work on time. Good understanding of impact measurement and evaluation to enhance organisational impact is essential for the role. You will also have experience in end-to-end management of events (national, in-person, and virtual). Experience of chairing meetings, discussions, and panels with high-level stakeholders, fostering engagement and collective decision-making would be a bonus however this is not essential for the role.
