Head Of International Tax

We are seeking an experienced Head of International Tax for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in managing the global tax strategy, compliance, and risk management, ensuring our client adheres to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the firm's tax strategy.
• Oversee global tax compliance, including income and corporation tax, VAT, sales taxes, and payroll.
• Review and reconcile partners' tax payments.
• Manage International Tax risks, particularly for remote workers.
• Handle employment taxes and manage IR35 risks.
• Prepare and submit the annual Country by Country report and ensure global transfer pricing compliance.
• Assess and address tax risks with the Director of Tax and Partner Finance.
• Support quarterly RMAC papers on tax and partner finance topics.
• Liaise with tax authorities, including HMRC and ATO, and manage global tax audits.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance.
• Advise on tax aspects of strategic initiatives and cross-border transactions.
• Lead and develop the International Tax team.
• Foster relationships with business finance and management stakeholders.
• Identify and drive operational improvements in tax processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in International Tax management.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop talent.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate complex tax regulations and compliance requirements.
